Formulating the Research Group
First, our teacher introduces Smart School program’s activities as part of our requirements for computer education 2. She also introduce the Doon po sa Amin video blog editing contest. Then, she pin point some students to be a leader of each group consisting of 8 members. After all students belong to each group, everyone conducted a brain storming and sharing of ideas about choosing each topic and focus.
Choosing the Group Coach
The group decided to look for a coach that would correct and guide us in doing the research topic. Our teachers, Melanie Daan and Aida Nale presented to be our coach.
Planning of the Research Activities
Our group decided to make our own home town, General Santos City as a place of our study. The next step we’ve done was conducting cyber surfing about the Tuna Festival and Tiongson Arcade of General Santos City. Then we, the group members were assigned for every job during and after conducting the interviews in each place that we’ve visit. After assigning the part we are portraying, the group decided to go to the celebration of Tuna Festival last September 3 and 5. We gathered pictures and video clips for that activity, we also do our write ups. The group also decided to proceed to the next and last place in the City we are featuring, the Tiongson Arcade together with our teacher. Again, and we gathered pictures, video clips and facts about the place. We also made the write ups.
Organizing the Blog Design and Content
We start making and compiling the requirements for our blog. We, the group decided to create a blog using word press. We add the videos that we have collected and the pictures that we made in slide shows. As well as the write ups that we’ve formulated.
